(Almost) Dead Like Me…Family, work, class and keeping up with life in general has been an interesting (daunting) juggling of time and samplings of various caffeinated drinks… here’s hoping to some downtime during the three day weekend. It’s not as if the classes are truly heavy with work per se – unless you call a combined 4 weeks of reading for first two classes a “light” workload… it is trying to get back into the rhythm of reading and analysis of the material considering it’s been quite a while since I’ve stepped into a classrom. It helps to know there is some correlation between the readings for the business and economics classes. And so far the professor has managed to put more real world application into the elements of the reading.
For some music to listen to at work… Grab a copy of Boom Boom Ba, by Metisse – Interesting blend of jazz, celtic and african pop… oddly enough, certain sequences remind of some of the elements and style of Ofra Haza and Tatu.
If you haven’t been tuning in… check out the Showtime series “Dead Like Me” in which this song played as a great background sequence.
