User Generated Advertising Contest
In an interesting uptrend Southwest and Dove(Unilever) has decided to tap the collective (creative) intelligence and get their customers to create advertising for them.
Southwest’s contest allows you to create your own “Wanna Get Away!?” series. It will be interesting to see the diverse range of the sense of humor people will contribute.

Dove is following up on their Campaign For Real Beauty and developing a Dove advertising contest around their new product line Dove Cream Oil. Users can contribute their own video or tap into a set of pre-defined, online library of scripted movies to develop their personal commercial for Dove Cream Oil (which, at the moment, is not currently on the market).
