Think you have what it takes to make onto primetime? Prove it!  In this year’s 7th Ann ual PSAid competition, winning Public Service Announcement (PSA) submissions will have the chance to air on NFL games and Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve, as well as popular shows like Once Upon A Time, The Bachelor and 20/20. The 2011 Nielsen data reports that PSAid videos were broadcast more than 5000 times to a total audience of more than 100,000,000.
PSAid contestants are encouraged to submit compelling and aesthetically creative print or video PSAs encouraging Americans to practice Smart Compassion when helping people affected by emergencies overseas by providing monetary donations to proven relief organizations. The Center for International Disaster Information (CIDI) informs that cash donations are less expensive for donors and more beneficial to recipients than are material donations. It’s simple: save lives, save money – send cash.
