How to become an ‘Animator In Residence’
London, UK – The Channel 4 / NMPFT Animator in Residence scheme offers new animators the chance to develop their short films in the new animation gallery at the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television.
The Animator In Residence (AIR) scheme is run by Channel 4 at The National Museum of Photography, Film & Television (NMPFT) in Bradford. It aims to give animators the chance to produce a short animation with the possibility of a full commission for Channel 4. This year 4 animators will be chosen to develop their own original idea for a short animated film into a proposal for Channel 4 television’s animation department, who will consider a full commission of the final production.
