With collaboration from the <strong>Craven Arts Council of New Bern<\/strong>, the ADN460 and ADN560 New Media studios developed 2D + 3D animated shorts, digital puppets and interactive media that features interviews and archives from current and past citizens of New Bern.  All students, friends and family are welcome to this <em>Free<\/em> Animation Showcase. <!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><a title=\"http:\/\/www.cravenarts.org\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cravenarts.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Craven Arts Council and Gallery \/ Bank of the Arts<\/a><br \/>\n317 Middle St., New Bern<br \/>\n(252) 638-2577<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Besides nurturing local artists, this organization provides exhibition space for local, regional and national artists in the Bank of the Arts, a reclaimed 1911 bank building that also houses the arts council&#8217;s administrative offices. The large, open main gallery, open Tuesday through Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM, is the staging area for a variety of exhibits. Popular traveling exhibits are often featured, and overall works include a variety of media, ranging from traditional to contemporary. The Vault, the council&#8217;s gallery shop, features the work of Carolina artists and is open year-round. The Craven Arts Council is a membership organization with various sponsorship levels available.
