Then the Nike founder gave him an offer he couldn&#8217;t refuse&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I would have to say that the July\/August issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastcompany.com\/magazine\/\" title=\"Fast Company\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Fast Company<\/strong><\/a> is the best one I&#8217;ve read in the last year. Somehow it managed to contain just the right amount of politics, environment, design and technology to keep me reading cover to cover this week.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparkcon.com\/\" title=\"SparkCon\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/onebitpixel.com\/aml\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/picture-8.png\" alt=\"Spark Con\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" \/><\/a>Raleigh was ranked in the Fast City listing, however it was ranked for <em>Research and Development<\/em> not necessarily for Creative-Class or Design which I think someone should clarify with the editors. If you need more proof&#8230; keep an eye out for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dxraleigh.com\" title=\"DXR07\" target=\"_blank\">Design Expo Raleigh &#8217;07<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sparkcon.com\/\" title=\"SparkCon\" target=\"_blank\">SparkCon<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/advancedmedialab.wordpress.com\/2007\/07\/20\/the-knights-tale\/laika-animation-studio\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-402\" title=\"Laika Animation\u00c2\u00a0Studio\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/onebitpixel.com\/aml\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/07\/picture-71.png\" alt=\"Laika Animation Studio\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" \/><\/a>Anyways, there is a great article about Travis Knight and the animation production studio he and his father have been developing. They are slowly (since 2005) working on making the next (little)big thing in animation.
