Mix them in varying percentages to make new colors and save them in your palette.<\/p>\n<p>Possible directions can include: warm colors, cool colors, neutral colors, washed colors, toon colors.<\/p>\n<p>Below are some Flash 8 Applets that can help in color palette selection and identification. These were created by modifying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/devnet\/flash\/articles\/image_api_05.html\" title=\"Flash Bitmap\" target=\"_blank\">Flash Bitmap Tools<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifbin.com\/news\/2005\/12\/flash-8-flashdisplaybitmapdatagetpixel.html\" title=\"getpixel\" target=\"_blank\">getPixel bitmap cycler<\/a> to allow you to load a dynamic .jpg image on load into a custom bitmap object for analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Palette Picker: <\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/project\/advancedmedialab\/applets\/PalettePicker.html\" title=\"Palette Picker\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/project\/advancedmedialab\/applets\/PalettePicker.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can download palette picker (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/project\/advancedmedialab\/applets\/palettepicker.zip\" title=\"Color Palette Picker\" target=\"_blank\">palettepicker.zip<\/a>) and use your own image or screen capture in the images folder&#8230; just rename your image and replace the 001.jpg in images folder and it will automatically load your image so you can cycle through a series of color selections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dynamic Color Wheel <\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/project\/advancedmedialab\/applets\/color.html\" title=\"Color Wheel\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/project\/advancedmedialab\/applets\/color.html<br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\nThis lets you pick some colors and cycle through complementary colors for your project.
