\nattitude is seeking a graphics and animation designer with experience
\nin: AfterEffects, Motion, Photoshop, & Illustrator. Flash and 3D
\nanimation skills a plus.<\/p>\n
As a team member of our Interactive Production department at McKinney Silver, you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing a wide range of designs for
\nmotion graphics used in online advertising, interactive graphics, user
\ninterface design, microsites and everywhere in between. We’ll rely on
\nyou to provide on-going asset\/element creation, maintenance and
\nquality control. You must possess and exhibit strong aesthetic and
\ntechnical knowledge with creative flair and be ready to juggle many
\nprojects and deadlines at once. We are looking for a candidate with a
\ncreative video reel\/interactive portfolio and several years of
\nhigh-level experience as a motion graphics designer.<\/p>\n
Duties: Create, design, and execute graphics & animations in support of visual branding per the following: Illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of images and copy; resolving issues of arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n– 5 to 7 years of professional design, motion graphics,
\ninteractive, and production experience.
\n– A degree in motion graphics, design, multimedia, or
\nequivalent education or experience.
\nMust have proven design and aesthetic sensibility to manage projects
\nfrom inception to implementation.
\n– Strong creative and organizational skills.
\n– Knowledge of broadcast motion graphics, video and
\ninteractive graphics.
\n– Must have communication skills to articulate design
\nresponses from clients and internal constituencies.
\n– Should be familiar with both MAC and PC.
\nTelevision broadcast experience or agency experience a must.
\n– Knowledge of sports a plus.
\n– Demonstrated expertise with interactive media production
\ntools including PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, Motion and After
\nEffects
\n– Demonstrated expertise with Actionscript programming
\n– Demonstrated proficiency with XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
\n– Demonstrated proficiency with video post production software
\n– Bachelor’s or equivalent degree or certification in visual
\ndesign, new media, graphic design or visual communications
\ntechnologies
\n– 2-5 years experience in interactive media design, web
\ndesign or broadcasting
\n– Superb written and verbal communication skills
\n– Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative and
\nfocused team environment
\n– Enthusiasm, ambition, detail-oriented and a passion for
\ndoing things right<\/p>\n
Software Experience:
\n– After Effects
\n– Photoshop
\n– Illustrator
\n– Flash (actionscipt a plus)
\n– 3D animation software
\n– Video editing software experience a plus<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is
\nskilled in motion design and development for web and broadcast using
\nFlash, Motion, After Effects and related technologies. This
\nmulti-talented person must possess a strong portfolio and\/or reel that
\nconveys flawless execution, command of the technology and the capacity
\nto create experiences that communicate and resonate.<\/p>\n
