2007 Apple Scholarship

Apple ScholarsIt pays to be clever. Namely, $2000, an iPod and a Mac – spiffy.

Presenting Apple Scholars Program — a college scholarship program for high school students that rewards those who use technology to solve problems creatively and learn more intuitively. Tell Apple (then show Apple) your best work and you could take a MacBook, an iPod, and $2000 to campus next fall.

Step I – Spill your guts
After filling out the standard Scholarship America application, you will be asked to answer two essay questions, one solely about you and one on how you have used technology to solve problems creatively. Just click on the “Apply Now” link below to fill out our Scholarship America e-application on or before the deadline of May 15, 2007.

Step II – Show and Tell
Now, you have to work for this… did you think they’d just give this stuff away!? On June 29, Scholarship America will contact 30 finalists with directions for the next step in the application process. The finalists will be asked to submit a 30-second multimedia piece that answers the questions, “If you had an audience of millions, what would you say?” The submission can take the form of words, music, video, photos, podcast, animation, or any combination of those media. It’s your way to show who you are.

Apple Inc. What are you waiting for. Apply Now.
